About This Event
KMR is Linda Kanter, saxes, Hamilton Mays , bass and Gerry Rempel, guitar. As a Trio, KMR brings a fresh vibe to jazz standards both familiar and lesser known. The tunes offer Swing, Latin, and Pop and a brush with Blues, along with original compositions. These three bring years of performance and recording experience, along with education and composition. Linda, Gerry and Hamilton are seasoned pros. Each has performed in many different genres and ensembles, as well as venues large and intimate. KMR provides a vibrant out-front performance OR an atmospheric presence for any event or venue. KMR also enjoys opportunities to perform as a quartet with drums. Linda, Gerry, and Hamilton separately have performed on a variety of stages.
