About This Event
Sam Pace is an American songwriter, bandleader and recording artist. His music is influenced by rock n’ roll, blues, soul, roots, reggae, gospel and many other genres including jazz and heavy metal. A resident and regular around Austin’s famous live music scene, Pace has spent the last 15 years touring aggressively around North America and releasing the bulk of his original material with his band, Sam Pace and the Gilded Grit. His original releases include four LPs, four EPs, and many singles. In years past, Pace has been peppered throughout the Austin Music Awards annual Top-10 lists. He has placed Top-10 for Musician of the Year, Best Song, Best Album, Best Album Art, Best Rock Band, Best Blues/Soul/Funk Band, Best Guitar Player and Best Male Vocals. In 2024 his focus shifted to more solo related material. Capturing a raw, minimalistic sound, his newest material leans into intimate acoustic performances and recordings.
